The mission of the ISEEC is to instill, promote, and sustain interest in science at all levels, from K-16 and beyond. The ISEEC is envisioned as the showcase for highlighting collaborative science education on campus involving the three institutions, which are the college, the high school, and the grade school.

The ISEEC also welcomes participation from other interested individuals, organizations, and the Madison community.
